Mentoring for young people in Essex
One of our favourite definitions of mentoring is by Bob Proctor who said, “A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you than you see in yourself and helps bring it out of you.”
This quote sums up the academic mentoring services we offer here at Shenfield Tutors.
While we believe in tutoring children so they can achieve their full academic potentials, we also believe in mentoring young people so they can dream big and achieve things beyond their wildest dreams.
The mentoring programme we offer is completely separate from private tutoring. Tutoring focuses on helping students build confidence and attain academic success. Mentoring, on the other hand, focuses on helping students find purpose and raise aspirations. Parents can choose to sign up for either the mentoring programme or private tutoring or both.
Through mentoring, we offer KS3-4 students guidance, support and role models to help them explore the different paths they can take so they can be successful in whatever they decide to do after school.
We provide advice about post-school options, future training or education, work experience, careers and GCSE subject selection to inspire and develop young talents. Mentoring starts from £60 per hour for face to face or Skype mentoring.
We can also match students with experienced professionals from diverse industries such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, software developers, marketing managers and lots more.
We do all these things so that secondary school students can have the necessary tools, knowledge and support to make important decisions about their future.
We can also provide mentoring in schools. Please contact us for a quote.
